Mercy Riders

Pushing pedals, pushing hope

The Mercy Riders are riding for three important reasons:

  • We felt a call to ride across America, but not just to say we did it: we wanted to do it for a good cause.
  • Mercy Housing is an amazing organization that deserves recognition and support.
  • If a few old(er), busy, family-type guys could do this, we might inspire others to worthy adventures.

About the Mercy Riders

The core team of riders will ride from San Francisco to Washington D.C., planning stops in Denver and Chicago on the way. These major cities are also the locations of major Mercy Housing affiliates. We hope others will join us to ride sections of our route with us. Our goal is to call attention to the work performed by Mercy in these cities and others. We also want to raise $50,000 through our efforts. We departed San Francisco on June 14, 2013 and expect to complete the trip by July 23.

Disclaimer: The Mercy Riders are not affiliated directly with Mercy Housing nor its subsidiaries. However, all fundraising efforts will be directed through Mercy Housing and through their online donation page.
